Hosta ‘Halcyon’ is a deciduous, clump-forming perennial with thick textured blue leaves which become heart shaped when mature. It has spikes of lavender-grey, bell-shaped flowers from mid-late summer.
Why we love it:
- Hosta ‘Halcyon’ is one of the best blue-leaved hostas and this lovely colour is really good for softening hard landscaping
- It will thrive at the front of a shady border, sheltered from cold, drying winds
- The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM)
